Feb 21– Lake Co: Winter Hike
Penitentiary Glen Reservation, 8668 Kirtland-Chardon Road, Kirtland. Get outside and enjoy the beauty of the winter woodlands on a guided nature hike with Lake Metroparks naturalists. Several hikes are planned during this program, varying in length and terrain, from flat and easy for the novice hiker to longer with rolling terrain and a few steep hills for the experienced hiker. Part of each hike will be on the Ohio Buckeye Trail. Hikers wishing to go at their own pace may choose their own self-guided hike.

Feb 26-28– Lake Co: Wildwood Basket Guild’s Winter Weave 2010
Wildwood Cultural Center, 7645 Little Mountain Road, Mentor. Amateur and professional weavers from all over the country come together for a spectacular winter weekend of weaving, designing and learning. Free Basket weaving demonstrations will be open to the public on Saturday from 1-3pm. Workshop registration is restricted to club members.
